Covid-19 Measures
As of April 14th, 2022...
- Medical masks are required for all staff, partners in care and visitors
- Residents are now allowed unlimited visitors, however only two can visit at one time
- Residents, no matter their vaccination status, may leave the facility but must be masked at all times
- Residents can attend public places such as hairdressers, banks, shopping centres, or restaurants, however they must wear their masks at all times
- Residents who return from personal drives will be required to test for COVID-19 by staff on day 2 and day 4 following the outing
- Residents who go out regularly will be required to test every 2 days
- Visitors can only visit with one resident within the facility
- Visitors must be well and have no signs of illness. Visitors must maintain social distancing from staff, other residents and other visitors
- Visits can be indoors or outdoors. Outdoor visits can have an unlimited number of visitors
- Social distancing is not required between visitors and the resident that they are visiting
- Visitors who are non-compliant with wearing a properly will be asked to visit in the common room ornwill be asked to leave the facility. Doors must remain open during visits
- All residents must closely monitor for symptoms and notify staff if they are experiencing any covid-like symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, headache, fatigue, abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea.
